Raw hazelnut brownies
with toasted coconut flakes

What you'll need makes 12 brownies 3/4 C coconut flakes 2 C walnuts 2 C dates 1 C raw cacao powder 1 tsp vanilla extract pinch sea salt 1/2 C hazelnuts, chopped | How to make them Toast coconut flakes at 180 degrees C for 4 minutes, turning once or twise. Allow to cool completely. In a food processor blend walnuts until finely ground. Add raw cacao and salt and blend again until combined. Add vanilla and dates while blending until the mixture comes together as a dough. Fold through hazelnuts and 1/2 C of coconut flakes. Press into a lined baking tray and slice pan. Top with remaining coconut flakes and refrigerate until set. |
