Chocolate and pecan scones

What you'll need serves 12 1 1/2 C almond meal 2 eggs 2 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 C raw pure honey, maple syrup or agave syrup 1/2 C pecans 1 C dessicated coocnut 6 tbs raw cacao powder 4 tbs coconut oil, melted 1/2 tsp baking soda | How to make them Combine almond meal, raw cacao and baking soda in a mixing bowl. Add eggs, vanilla, honey and coconut oil and combine well. Incorporate coconut and pecans and roll into balls. Place on a lined baking tray and flatten slightly until they resemble scones. bake for 15-20 minutes in a preheated oven at 150 degrees C or until firm and golden. |
